GOVERNOR CUOMO DEPLOYING DFS MOBILE COMMAND CENTER TO LOCATIONS IN NASSAU AND SUFFOLK COUNTIES
Trained Staff to Help Sandy Victims with Applications for Federal Housing and Business Recovery Aid
NEW YORK, NY - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo is deploying representatives of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) to locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties to help homeowners and business owners affected by Superstorm Sandy apply for federal recovery aid.
DFS representatives will also be available to assist with insurance-related issues stemming from damage caused by Sandy.
The Department’s representatives will be available to meet with residents inside the agency's Mobile Command Center, which will be stationed at these locations:
Wednesday, June 26 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lawrence Village Hall, 196 Central Avenue, Lawrence
Friday, June 28 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Seaford Public Library, 2234 Jackson Avenue, Seaford
Thursday, June 27 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Islip Town Hall, 665 Main Street, Islip
Saturday, June 29 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
