Application Status

The Department of Financial Services does not process Healthy NY applications.

Complaints

If you cannot resolve a problem with your insurance company, you may file a formal complaint with the Department of Financial Services' Consumer Assistance Unit. Please visit the Department of Financial Services' "How to File a Complaint" page.

External Appeal

If your insurance company denied services as not medically necessary, experimental or investigational, or in certain cases out-of-network, you may have the right to an external appeal through the Department of Financial Services. Please visit the Department of Financial Services' External Appeals page.
