Following is a table that lists the licenses issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services and their requirements.

Code: BB - bail bond agent
Ins Law Section: 6802
Exam Required: Yes. Call PSI*
Exemption from Examination: None.

Code: BR - property & casualty broker (all lines except life, bail bonds, annuities)

  1. one qualified by examination who was licensed BR within last two years
  2. current PC agent
