NEW YORK STATE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT GIVES FRAUD
FIGHTING AWARD TO PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE

New York, December 10, 1998

The New York State Insurance Department is pleased to announce that it has awarded Vincent P. Coyne, of Progressive Insurance, the coveted 1998 Frauds Bureau Director’s Award for Outstanding Service. Mr. Coyne, Progressive’s New York Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Process Leader, was commended for his outstanding cooperation and aggressive approach to fighting insurance fraud. Mr. Coyne works at Progressive’s Tarrytown, New York office.

"It is a pleasure to formally recognize Vince’s dedication to combating fraud. His commitment is indeed commendable," said the New York State Insurance Department’s Frauds Bureau Director Charles DeRienzo.

The Director’s Award was created by the Insurance Department to honor prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and insurance industry representatives who have rendered outstanding service to the Department’s Frauds Bureau in its mission to fight insurance fraud.
