Department Specialists to Attend 2000 New York State Fair
Superintendent of Insurance Neil D. Levin today announced that Department specialists from the Consumer Services and Frauds Bureau will be staffing an information booth at the New York State Fair.
The Department’s specialist will be in attendance to provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions concerning health, life, automobile and homeowners insurance, obtain publications and brochures, and submit consumer complaints. In addition, the booth will be equipped with a computer for access to our web site.
"I hope New Yorkers take advantage of the opportunity to browse our web site and discover the plethora of consumer information that is available at their fingertips," said Levin.
Investigators from the Department’s Frauds Bureau will also be on hand to educate the public on our latest fraud fighting efforts.
The booth will be located in the Center of Progress building. The fair runs from Thursday, August 24 through Monday, September 4.
