DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO ALL INSURANCE CLAIM QUESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS
IN THE WAKE OF RECENT SNOWSTORMS

Businesses and Individuals Can Call the Department’s Emergency Toll-Free Hotline

Superintendent of Insurance Gregory V. Serio today announced that help is available to companies and individuals who have insurance-related questions or complaints in the aftermath of the snowstorms that have blanketed the Buffalo region, affecting Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.

To help consumers with their immediate insurance questions, the Department has representatives on hand at the Department’s Buffalo office to answer questions and help consumers. The phone number is 716-847-7619. For additional assistance, individuals and businesses can call the Department’s toll-free disaster hotline at 1-800-339-1759.
