Health Bureau - Filing Compliance Seminar - November 6, 2008
CALLING ALL FILERS! SAVE THE DATE!
On Thursday, November 6, 2008, the Health Bureau will be hosting an informational session for industry representatives who draft accident and health insurance policy forms and rates and then submit them for review and approval. Topics for the seminar were chosen based upon the comments and suggestions we received from attendees at last year’s filing compliance seminar. The first part of the session will include discussions on stop loss insurance, travel insurance, rate manuals and a segment on recent developments affecting filings. The second segment will consist of break-out sessions for dialogue with the file reviewers. Come and meet the Department staff reviewing your submissions to discuss: general coverage issues, the specifics of a particular file, or whatever questions you may have. Reviewers will be on hand to discuss them with you.
If you have a specific question that you would like Department personnel to answer at the lecture or break-out session, we request that you provide the question in writing prior to the seminar. This will ensure that your questions can be fully addressed at the seminar.
