Insurance PreLicensing Education Provider Program

Individuals seeking to be licensed as an insurance producer or a public adjuster must pass a licensing exam. Before taking this exam, the licensing candidate must complete a Department approved prelicensing course, which is delivered by an approved Provider Organization (Provider).

Those seeking to become an approved Prelicensing Education Provider must meet the requirements outlined in the Prelicensing Criteria and submit all required applications and documentation. Links to the downloadable Criteria document and all applications are provided below.

The Provider must offer approved courses covering topics contained in the most current content outlines. Exam Content Topic Locators must accompany all course approval applications. Links to those forms are provided below.
