Life Settlement Intermediary Registration

The New York State Department of Financial Services accepts applications for registration by life settlement intermediaries in accordance with NY Insurance Law § 7804.

A Life Settlement Intermediary Registration application and forms must be submitted as follows:

An application, including the following additional attachments, should be sent by email to: [email protected]

• Life Settlement Intermediary Registration Application
• Certificate of Designation by Life Settlement Intermediary
• Policies Available and Settled through Applicant
• Commitment to New York State Department of Financial Services
• Board of Directors Resolution
• Appointment of Superintendent of Financial Services as Attorney
• Life Settlement Intermediary Untrustworthy Commitment
• A check, made payable to "Superintendent of Financial Services", in the amount of $7,500, and
• Evidence of electronic fingerprinting, or if applicable, completed fingerprint cards, accompanied by the applicable fingerprinting fee; and
• An original set of biographical affidavits should be sent by mail to:
