How to File
Annual filing of a Market Conduct Profile by each authorized life insurer is required.
The Market Conduct Profile is submitted via the Life Market Conduct application on the DFS Portal. To access the DFS Portal, you must have a DFS Portal account. If you do not have a Portal account you will need to create one.
To get started, visit the DFS Portal:
- Use a supported browser: The latest version plus one previous of Edge, FF, Chrome and Safari, are supported.
- Disable “Pop-up Blockers” in your browser before using portal applications.
- Application may be unavailable from 7:30am to 7:45am daily for scheduled maintenance.
- Applications may not be compatible with cell phones, tablets or other mobile devices.
Once signed in, use the Ask for Apps tab to request access to the Life Market Conduct application.
Trusted Source
A "Trusted Source" for each company must be communicated to the Department. If your company does not have a Trusted Source established, the following information should be emailed to [email protected]:
Name of Insurer
Name of President/CEO
Email address of CEO/President
The subject of your email should include your Company's name and the words "Trusted Source."
