Step 2 - File Specification

Step 2 must be filed within five days of mailing the lis pendens. The following specification is applicable for loans where Step 1 was filed on or after January 1, 2014. If Step 1 was filed before January 1, 2014, please use Specification for Step 2 where Step 1 was filed before January 1, 2014.

Acquired loans

For loans that were acquired and Step 1 was filed by another servicer, enter a ‘Y’ in row number 3. Such filings should also include the last name of the borrower and the 5-digit zip code of the property in rows 4 and 5, respectively.

Step 2 information may be amended by answering Y in row number 2 in the specifications below.
