RE: MARKET ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR PRODUCTS LIABILITY INSURANCE
On November 1, 1978, a Market Assistance Program for Products Liability Insurance (New York-MAP-Products) became operative in this state.
This Program is a voluntary effort on the part of Property and Casualty Companies, and their agents and brokers, to assist businesses that are having problems in obtaining products liability insurance. This program will continue as long as there is a demonstrated need for this service.
We urge all companies licensed in this state who write this line of business to fully cooperate and participate in this Program.
Kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter. Include the name of the person to be contacted with regard to the placement of products liability business within your company under this Program. Send this information to:
