STATUTORY REFERENCES: Insurance Law Section 3201(c)(11); Chapter 389 of the Laws of 2001

On October 31, 2001, Governor Pataki signed A.4144/S.1574 into law (Chapter  389 of the Laws of 2001) with an immediate effective date. This enactment repeals Section 3201(c)(11) of the Insurance Law which had required single case approval for all types of group long-term care products identified above. Consequently, the Department shall deem all policy forms which have previously received single case approval to be approved on a general basis effective immediately.
