Insurers Adjusting Claims on Behalf of Other Insurers

The purpose of this circular letter is to remind licensed insurers of their responsibility to obtain the appropriate independent adjusters license pursuant to N.Y. Ins. Law Section 2108 and Regulation 25 (11 NYCRR 26) when adjusting accident and health and/or property/casualty claims on behalf of other insurers.
