Statement By New York State Financial Services Superintendent Maria T. Vullo On The Approval Of Gemini Trust To Open Representative Office In Washington State
"The Department's decision to grant approval to Gemini Trust, a virtual currency business licensed in New York State, to offer services in Washington State is a great example of the demonstrable success of state regulators working together through the Conference of State Bank Supervisors" uniform application process. It also highlights states" ability to rapidly respond to and effectively foster fintech business models.
